Film Finance Malta Ltd. was launched in 2015 with the express aim of providing finance for film projects especially in the initial stages of the project when most projects have problems with cash flow.
The Memorandum and Articles of the company provided for the company to finance projects in any way in order to help projects, especially those that provided for the growth of the film industry in Malta and/or helped project the island on to the world stage of films, culture and the world of films.
The Malta Global Screen Development Fund scheme offers support to early-stage projects, including screenwriting, research, and pre-visualization, and is therefore ideal for projects that need funding to reach a production-ready stage.
Film Finance Malta Ltd supports the development of film, TV, and digital media projects, fostering international co-productions and boosting Malta’s cultural and economic growth.
