About Us

Film Finance Malta Ltd. was launched in 2015 with the express aim of providing finance for film projects especially in the initial stages of the project when most projects have problems with cash flow.  The Memorandum and Articles of the company provided for the company to finance projects in any way in order to help projects, especially those that provided for the growth of the film industry in Malta and/or helped project the island on to the world stage of films, culture and the world of films.

The first project that the company undertook was to help finance co-production efforts made under the terms provided by European Convention on Cinematographic Co-Production that Malta signed in September of 2001.  The company is now looking into other projects: helping to finance film makers in other ways, projects that would help put Malta onto the fore-front of the film-making world.
